What cars would you choose for the classic car quarter program?

None. I don't think it would be a good series, TBH. I think U.S. coins should be reserved for national things like states/parks/etc...
If you start going into the classic car series, whatever it may be...You are entering the realm of Liberia or some other country that "issues" crap like:

i think Canada would do something like that because they put everything on their coins, they make superhero coins so classic cars would not be too far off. Maybe I can send my idea to the Canadian mint.

I don't think that would go over well, wouldn't be a series I would collect. JMO.

I think that series would be a classic dud. How about a classic aircraft series? Wait, that would be a dud, too.

The US Mint, with the micromanagement of Congress, has run series into the ground. And they’re not done yet. (State innovators). During the same time frame of these series, new designs have really gone down the toilet. Suppose there’s a correlation?

What we really need are trains on US coins.

1971 340 Dodge Dart Swinger... Because it is mine! Well, not really. But it was an easy excuse to post a photo..... Our nation is in need of a national pride kick in the rump. I believe the mint should school their designers on the early craftsmanship when our coinage better displayed national pride.

I think Fiji or one of those other micro-republics already beat you to this idea.
