1973 D Lincoln. Is this coin 20170823_182237-1.jpg 20170823_182302-1.jpg missing the clad layer?

Why is the whole coin almost black?

It has lived a portion of its life in a corrosive environment.
    It's just damaged. Spend it.

Environmental Damage... Affected by sand, soil, dirt
Here are my coins that I found Metal Detecting.
Quarters and Dimes can have their Clad Layer affected. Also Nickels with no clad layer.

Must have the original mint luster if you are looking for the black beauty.
