Today was a somewhat exciting day :) i actually found a lone star note in my bundle of 200! Its only the 2nd or 3rd in 10-15 bundles (i lost track)!

but i also found some notes that made me think... i know you want pictures :D but tough lol i cant scan at work.

so the first note up ... a radar ...
    2006 G 21688612 B
ok so its not a radar to anyone but ebay sellers :D but boy did i get excited when i saw it lopl

second note up is a low serial number
    1999 B 00003180 K
being that the note is so old.. its a bit strange that such a low numbered serial would have lasted. The note is only VG at best, so its possible the note spent some time in a sock drawer! this note i will be keeping lol

next note is my lone star note found today
    2001 F 08889421 *
heavily circulated but a star nonetheless :)

the last note i found i wanted to ask a question, and for that i will post in a different thread for some conversation :)

I have accounts at local banks used strictly for numismatic related hobby things :) 2 to 3 times a week, i take a bundle of $200 in singles to my 'sell' bank. There i turn them into bigger notes - $10's, $20's ect. Then i go to 1 of my 'buy' banks, and buy $200 in new singles. Then i search through them for new finds :)

Neat finds! I found a star yesterday and a low note too and just bought them from my drawer today. The low note is a 2006 (F6) don't have my book with me to tell what district # is F 00001747 E it is still crisp in pretty good condition.

I was also going through a bag of dimes and found 1 silver one a 1953 D. Made my day a little better.

dotn worry .. im consuded now too lol

i made sure to type the serial in correctly, at least i thought i did! The first 3 numbers and the last 3 number match, but the 2nd and 3rd digits are reversed... at least i thought :)

i think the notes i 21688162 ... BUT now i will have to re-check tomorrow. in had a late afternoon meeting with 100 of my closest co-workers, whom i have never met :D, so in hast to get to the meeting i forgot the notes in my own building.

Sorry - because of my haste - no pics, and no info on the almost radar tonight lol

Shoot i do hope its the serial i posted lol
