Circulated 1982 & 1983 Washingtons

Is there any value in circulated 1982 and 1983 quarters? I have noticed that MS quarters of these years are hard to find and pricey.

In a short answer, NO. Circulated coinage after 1964 has very little premium, and that is limited to very few select areas.

The reason that unc quarters from the early to mid 80's bring such good money is because very few overall were collected in rolls.

 

There were no 82 and 83 mint sets so unc coinage from these years is a little tough to find.
