Circular indentation 1979 nickel

    I am totally new to coin collecting, I'm wondering what would cause the circular impression on this coin? The words E. Pluribus Unum are raised above a circular indent. Does this happen from coin counting machines? 20190805_181915-0.jpg

    Probably a worn die strike issue.
