That comes from a coin rolling machine, it was the end coin in the roll when it was crimped.

That's damage from a coin rolling machine as stated, very common.
Somebody, let me out of this rusty cage .
@SAMUEL RUIZ Press it into a coin wrapper crimper hard enough and it will create that circle.
