Chrome penny?

    Hey guys....
    Just found a penny today that is really wierd. It is a 1997 penny but it looks like chrome and is not magnetic. ???? Absolutly mint condition. Checked it against a regular penny and can't find any differences. What could it be?

    It's probably zinc plated. A lot of high school chemistry classes do this.
