I just bought this lot of coins (there's some more with holes but not that relevant). The coin I am most interested is the Christianus VII Silver Coin. Apparently it is a 60 Schilling Coin, but other than that I really don't know much about it. I don't have a Krause Book to look it up either. They are ranging from about 150 and up on eBay. If anyone could help me with a value for the coin I'd be appreciative. I bought the lot for this coin! Hopefully I'll do okay! Thanks

$65 to $250 depending on year in VG 8 condition. That hole kills the value. What year is it?

I have no idea! There wasn't a picture of the reverse of the coin. Your guess is as good as mine. I essentially paid $55.00 for the coin. You're right, the hole kills it, but I was hoping it was still worth about $100.00 with the hole.

Keep us updated when you find the year. In the meantime, research: German States Schleswig-Holstein 60 schilling minted from 1787 to 1808.

Okay thanks! I appreciate it. Hopefully I didn't do too bad on it. Foreign coins aren't my thing at all.
