Chipped Planchet ?

    I found this while roll searching tonight I tryed to take some pics but the lights are to strong in the house.I do not know what it is or called but the pic I can not get is the edge of the coin . Inside the chip or what ever the damage is there are reeds just like the outside edge so that would have to mean MD Right? But I do not understand how it could have got reeded in the hole or chip.

    From what I see it looks more like damage, but could you post a picture of the whole coin?

    001.JPG 002.JPG If you look close at the edge you can see the reeding I can not seem to get in a good pic, And Non cents Are you saying Post mint damage? but how could it have got reeded?

    PMD. and I think what you are seeing as reeding is just the way the metal broke off when it got damaged. Keep searching! :)

    Seems to be an end of the roll coin and was damaged post mint.
