Hey folks! I just obtained this Chinese Tibet Rupee as part of a large wholesale lot. It was mixed in with a whole mess of world coins. Can anyone help to authenticate it? It is silver and weighs correctly (11.3g). Also, any help deciphering the year and determining value would be great. Thanks!
I don't know anything about these, that said there are a ton of fakes, and unfortunately even fakes that are real silver and correct weight. The bottom on that reverse looks worn so that's a good sign! good luck!
Looks to be genuine. Nice one! They are starting to command some wild prices in today's market. Check ebay for sold prices.
