Hey everyone, Recently got in a lot of EF-UNC Chinese copper 10 cash dragon coins, from a variety of provinces. Checking PCGS value guide on these, and I notice the same date has a huge amount of varieties, with a wide range of prices as well. For example: Hupeh 1906 10 cash, I cannot tell the difference between Y-10j.3 and Y-10j.5. Any resources or help you would suggest to me? Thanks
Somewhere I have a copy of this book: https://www.amazon.com/Minted-Ten-Cash-Coins-China/dp/B0006C66K0 If you can get hold of a copy it probably has a lot of details on these.
Some detailed info on the variety here... https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces166826.html Looks like one difference between the two types you noted is the swirl on the pearl. One is in relief, the other incuse.
