    what is the coin and the date

    Republic of...China, Krause catalog Y#362. 50 cents (1/2 Yuan) metal-copper-nickel.
    not sure what date it is ? 31(1942) or 32(1943) ?

    not sure what your coins value is after those 2 marks on the reverse where it looks like it was soldered as a jewelry piece ???

    Krause values may differ from real life values.

    I am almost sure yours is a 1942 from the looks of ones compared to on Ebay

    The date is on the obv, the second, third, and fourth characters from the left. it reads from right to left 3, 10, 1 3 times 10 plus 1 = 31
