I know Chinese spade coins are a very unexplored field, but does anyone know how old this one is and which area it came from? Any help is much appreciated.

You’ve really got to know what you’re doing with these. There are so many fakes it’s unbelievable. Please be careful.

    Here’s one I own and it’s a fake. It’s a Wang Mang 800 Spade.

Sorry, does not look authentic at all. I haven't looked at mine in a while, but I have maybe 80 and have never seen one like this in my collection or in Hartill.
