The 5th Edition, Volume 1 Guide that I had pre-ordered came in today's mail. Now I have the choice of staying home and reading it, or going Christmas shopping. I think I'll read.

Cool, David! Now you'll have to give us a book report. Back to school you go!

Yep I need to order mine. I didn't know volume 1 and 2 were different. I thought volume 2 was the newer version. lol
Needless to say I felt really stupid. :D

It's a great read so far. My only complaint is that it's hard to turn the pages since the ring binding isn't quite big enough and the pages catch on the opposite side pages. There are 264 pages of coin data plus appendices. Also 7 pages of sponsor ads and 11 pages of self-promotion. I may rip those extra 18 pages out; it could help.

The 4th edition Volume 1 had 422 pages. How was it changed with the 5th?

Whitman has it for $40 and Amazon has it for $26. I think I am going Amazon.

    That should be 364 + 11 + 7 pages for the book - 383 total. I don't have the 4th edition so I can't say what was changed.

Yes there is. It shows the indicators and says it wasn't discovered until the Summer of 2007.
