The quarter looks real enough to me or is it only there for size comparisons and not what you found?

Just started Metal detecting myself. Found some old Items in my Yard ( House built 1910, Litchfield County Ct ) A 1907 Indian Head and some Common Coins later and now I'm collecting Coins and MDing! They go Hand and Hand and I enjoy both Hobbies equally. I just like finding Bits of History!
