Check out this new Site that is exactly like ebay but no pesky fees!

    Received in my email from COIN TALK and it will not let me in ?? says error not allowed?? any help!:)

    Beware of a knockoff bogus site that's phishing for personal data. This is a favorite method.

    There is no other site that is exactly like eBay.

    As many things as eBay does that I don't like, there are too many things I do like. It is an INCREDIBLY complex business to manage, and for some newbie site to brazenly claim it is the next eBay is just foolhardy.

    There was a slew of garbage spam posts here and this reads like it was part of that wave.

    Yep, someone came in and started spamming all the forums about a new auction site. Now the posts are gone. I'm not sure why CoinTalk's forum software reports "not allowed" rather than "has been removed", but it's what I see, too.

    I believe it says "not allowed" , because when a moderator labels a thread/post as spam, several actions come into play to prevent similar occurrences, and depending on content, the material can be deleted, or stored in a separate file that administration can access for further action, but not members, who are "not allowed" to access.
