You guys have to check out TEC (The Elongated Collectors). This site is a hoot. Relatively small but they seem like good people with a passion for squishin”. I admit to having quite a few of these elongated cents but I never thought that anyone was organizing a forum around them. Hope you have fun!

I didn't know about this forum but have used pennycollector.com for years.

physics-fan3.14 You got any more of them.... prooflikes?

My sister, who I am trying to get involved in numismatics, loves the elongated cents. She gets them whenever she sees a machine, and has people bring them back for her whenever they go anywhere.

Hmmm. Another thing to collect!! LOL! My son had a few of those, but I don't know where they are now. I was in St. Augustine last Friday and saw one of these machines at the 'Fountain of Youth' park. I didn't buy any (4 different designs) but now I wish I had. I didn't realize there are as many of these out there as there are. I'll have to think about this!!

Yea I have a collection of them but all new common stuff.
I've seen that web site before it's cool.
I can't believe they have all those old ones. The old ones are so nice.

A friend of mine is either president or past president. He always has several in his pocket and gives some to my son at Boston Numismatic Society meetings.
