It would be a token in the patriotic category. You can pick them up around $15-$25 depending on the condition and the token. Other than that, your question is to general to answer.
The really cool thing about something like these is you can more easily profit from knowledge. I am not an expert at these by a long shot, but I have seen common issues, and uncommon ones. Unless you are dealing with a specialist, most dealers list these all around the same price for the same grade. An expert can go around to coin stores and local coin shows and pick up scarcer pieces for cheap money. Knowledge is power in numismatics, especially for less common items. If you liek these, I would STRONGLY urge you to get the specialty books on them. At least have your local library borrow it for you from a larger library and spend time educating yourself on better issues.
"Patriotic Civil War tokens by George and Melvin Fuld" is the standard reference on the subject. You can pick up the book on ebay, amazon and most of the online coin supply stores.
If you are serious about learning about CWT's I can recommend membership in the Civil War Token Society. Their club publication is first rate, plus members get discounts on the reference books they need. http://www.cwtsociety.com/
I have found some rares that were misattributed for less than $20 - in EF condition. CWT's are really cool, I never owned any before a few months ago and have been bitten by the bug. I like the history, the rarity and how personal they can be.
In low grade like the OP mentioned I would think you should be able to get some in the $5 - $7 range. Maybe even less.
