    You can always send it in for re-slabbing, for a fee of course.

    It costs 27 to get reslabbed. so it wouldnt make sense.

    I happen to know that another member here bought that coin. I answered a question about it earlier.

    I prefer the old style holders and request them when I send in coins to NGC. I don't like the way that the edge view holders cover parts of the rim. I do like the edge view for coins with edge lettering though.

    They usually do, but I think they are just using up old stock.

    I actually prefer the way some of the older slabs look. Theres something about a small ANACs holder that I like.

    I love the old holders, the tiny anacs ones (I call them wristwatches) for sure, but my true love is the old NGC fatty holder.

    OP: Nice pickup on the coin. $18 is great for a $25 coin
