Chasing Varieties and Mint Marks

Here's one the I found laying around the house. An 1954 S Jefferson . There's an 1954 S/D variety what do you think?
Compare the circulated 1954 to my 54 S/D in MS-65

Looks like it to me, at least it does with the wear and photos. What else do you have lying around the house?

 

That " D " that looks like a die crack in the " S " is a dead giveaway ..... Very late die state, o those grinders ......

I don't think it's a match. The lower serif of the D should be the strongest part, and it's not there. There's indeterminate die wear and dirt patterns interfering with seeing what I think you think is part of the curve of the D below the upper serif of the S.
