    That color is very nice, and the 49-D was a good date/mm to taste the rainbow.

    Very nice. Album toned I would suspect. As one who appreciates nicely toned nickels I prefer mine in a blue, blue/violet shade that doesn't distract or conceal the underlying devices.

    Personally, I would suspect the 1949-D is Mint Set toned. Pretty coin.
