Here is the latest group of new purchases for my personal collection that Todd just finished photographing for me - whatcha all think?

I've wanted one of these really cool "1 in the Neck" varieties for quite some time and was finally able to acquire this one from Rick:

Notice the neat die polishing lines around the ear on this Snow 5 variety 1864 Copper Nickel (by the way, it's very similar to the 1862 Copper Nickel I posted a few weeks ago and which I am "petitioning" Rick to crate a new variety for as well!)

I'm really not into collecting Civil War era store tokens, but I couldn't resist these two pretty toned tokens since one is an Indian and one is a Flying Eagle!

Those are all great coins Charmy, I especially Like the flying eagle token, and the 1897 "1 in neck" variety. Although IMO it is a high AU coin.. One of those AU-64 type coins.

Beautiful coins. I do not know how hard the others are to find, but that 15-S is a #$@#$@!# to find.

Great coins, Charmy, that 1897 MPD is on my fantasy cherrypick list. Thanks for showing!

Thanks everyone, and I am happy to say that I "made" that 1915-S. I bought it raw and thought it had a shot at MS65 but, with PCGS being the way they are right now, I thought for sure it would come back MS64. I think the luster on this one is what put it over the top.

And the 1897 "1" in the neck is probably my favorite MPDs. Believe me, they are really tought to find in high grades, even XF up.

You realize that is only the ninth 15-S to be graded that high (brown, anyway)?

Yep, looked it up myself after I got it back from being graded. I am quite pleased with this little guy and don't plan on parting with it. It's even better in hand, with tons of glossy luster. I am very happy to add it to my set.

The 15-S is utterly amazing, as well as the tokens - so much great history!

    thanks for showing these.

I love the hint of blue toning on the 15-S. I am not a copper collector so take it for what it's worth (and not as disrespecting the RD or RB coins in your collection) but for me, the finest looking coins you have posted, including this one, are BN. It helps that Todd takes great photos of BN coins.
    Enjoy them all.
