Hi, all! I'm a coin guy who knows little to nothing about currency, but I have some interest in notes bearing Charles H. Treat's signature because I'm a distant relative of his. Is there an easy way to look up which notes these are, and a rough idea how much I might pay for them in, let's say, Fine or VF?

    Thanks

I see his signature mostly on the series 1907 $5 Legal Tender (WoodChopper) notes. Charlie was the Treasurer under Roosevelt from 1905 through 1909.

Neat! Looks like he was born in Maine and went to Dartmouth - just like my father.

Per the chronology here, Treat's signature can be found on:

1907 $5 USN (the Woodchopper note already mentioned)
1901 $10 USN (the Bison note)
    1880 $20 and $1000 USNs
    1882 $5-$100 Nationals
    1902 $5-$100 Nationals
    1907 $10 and $1000 GCs
1905 and 1906 $20 GCs (the former is the Technicolor note)
    1882 $50, $100, $1000, $5000, and $10,000 GCs
1900 $10,000 GCs (the ones often seen in cancelled form)
    1899 $1, $2, and $5 SCs (the $5 is the Chief note)
1908 $10 SC (the Tombstone note)
    1891 $50 SC

But be aware that every single one of those also comes with other signature combinations not involving Treat....

Thanks, @Numbers! That looks to be exactly what I'm looking for.
