Changing position on my ATB quarter album

I recently changed my collecting habits for my ATB quarter album. Previously I would purchse the Silver Proof set and then purchase the 3 coin set as it became available. This year is decided to purchase both the Silver and Uncirculated proof sets as they were issued and then am planning on purchasing either the uncircurlated or circulated coins when they become available.

After doing some additional thinking on this topic I am wondering if I am sacrificing the quality of the album in order to save a few bucks.

Would you change you purchasing habit like I did? I'm not real sure if I did the right thing or not.

I don't bother with the three coin PDS Set. I just buy the uncirculated 28 coin set, bust out the quarters and put them in the album. By extra proof sets for the quarters ( silver also ) They go right in my dansco.

I have dansco's for all the moderns, the only proof ones are the dollars, quarters, nickels, and cents. I get the uncirculated mint set, the silver proof set, and the quarters proof set. Every coin has a hole except the silver half dollars and silver dimes and they're put in capsules. No extra nickel and cent proofs to worry about.
To date I've been getting everything from the lcs but I'm ordering from the mint starting this year, maybe. I'm gonna wait till I can get everything together and save on the shipping. Getting the back dated silver sets haven't been very hard and cheaper over all paying spot plus a couple bucks and getting all the other coins basically for free. The only mint set causing me headaches is the '08 (I don't wanna pay $60)
I like the system I have going. The silver sets are mainly for the silver with the statehood quarters going in a 1 per state dansco. (I wanna feel like a king flipping through a book with pages made of silver)
I've been sorta collecting for a few years but really dove into it last year after my debts went to $0. Now I'm debt free and credit card free focusing my impulsive spending on my hobby and feel proud now that I have something to show for.

Sure wish I wouldve known you needed an 08, i just sold my extra for $45 just so i could buy a new coin for my type set. I wasnt even mad at selling it for spot + face, as it was free for me to begin with. Oh, well. Hopefully your deal will come by soon enough.

And excellent job becoming debt free, i bet you feel like a whole new person now, huh?

Lol true. Sometimes having piles and piles of PM just makes you feel good.

When I get that urge I have some boxes full of world silver and gold I just play with.

Maybe one day I'll have a money bin like Scrooge McDuck that I can swim through...eh, maybe not. It's still a nice dream though.
