    found this 1953d Wheat penny in change today the coin over all is in nice shape, has luster still and IMHO a good find

    I had a very nice 51 wheatie in my change this week. Makes me think that collections are being broken down by inheritors and the cash spent.

    i agree with collections being broken up and don't forget the coin roll searchers also could be another reason for these coins in change

    but no matter how it got into change it now rests in my collection with my other change finds

    I split my accumulation into about 30 small accumulations for my grandkids and great grandkids. As I went along through the Wheat Cents, I put some into the batch I was going to roll for cash. Not this nice, but OK. Someone will find them useable.
