Came across these CRH. Looking for some opinions on these as I have searched around trying to determine what I have for certain. If I'm wrong, no thin skin here. 1956d obverse error. Not sure what it what it would fall under but does not look like damage to me. 1986 1956d-1.jpeg 1956d-2.jpeg 1986d OMM.jpeg 1986d-OMM2.jpeg 1986d-OMM3.jpeg 1989d-DDR.jpeg 1989d-DDR2.jpeg 1989d-DDR6.jpeg 1989d-DDR8.jpeg 1989d-DDR5.jpeg d OMM. 1989d DDR? Part of me says MD.

    ‘86-D...corrosion.
    ‘89-D...split-plate doubling and environmental damage.

I agree that the first one is just damage. Copper, being so soft, can be displaced and through circulation wear, the flattened part was worn smooth. JMHO
The others are examples of the crappy Zincoln cent and will self-destruct in time.
