Hi all, though I would post a picture of this 1993 Lincoln cent with a die break between the columns on the very far left. I found this cent in circulation a few years ago. Hope you can see the die break ok, still practicing taking pictures with my new camara. Feel free to comment. Lou
Very nice interior die break. It's not a "cud", as a cud, by definition, carries away the rim and at least a little bit of the field.
I too have a 93 cent with what seems to be an error? How common are these kinds of errors? http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n163/mitchalbade/DSC00317.jpg http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n163/mitchalbade/DSC00308.jpg http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n163/mitchalbade/DSC00305.jpg
that is kewl really nice pics by the way..what are you using? I need to get something that will take good pics like that
enthusiast, the cent that you have may be a result of the copper not adhering properly to the zinc core. In other words air bubbles. There's no extra value to those coins. bq, Art, edduns, thanks for the comments! Lou
zinc is a pretty weak material . You could probly get the same results by puting a cent on your oven. It starts melting in less than 5 minutes
