    Yeah, it's not uncommon at all, especially with late 60s/early 70s cents.

    Agree with Jody. Late 1960s early 1970s were plagued with MD.

    which magically affect only one device, which happens to be the independently punched mm ... sounds like the most likely explanation ... sure ...

    Isolated machine doubling, more often than not, effects the MM. Check this out:
