Celto/Scythian AV Stater

    Here is my AV Stater ND circa 150BC. It was struck by a tribe called the "Basternae" they were a Celto/Scythian people that lived in the Black Sea Region. Seems they imitated the AV Staters of Lysimachus of Thrace. john photos 1 014 (Medium).jpg john photos 1 004 (Medium).jpg

    I never knew that Celtic people lived as far East, as the Black Sea. I am trying to get a nice quality Icenii AV "Norfolk Wolf" coin from Chris Rudd.
