Anyone have suggestions how to calm a cat down while your roll hunting, I am trying to get back into it since my health took a rebound and I have more energy but this darn cat seems to enjoy it as much or more than I do. She's all the time pulling out rolls from the box or hoping on the table and knocking everything over. I love her to death but she needs attention ALL the time lol.

Sic the dog on em! Yeah right (dog is afraid of the cats) But simply said...
Not a darn thing you can really do... I drug mine with lots of Nips before I CRH... Doesn't calm them but does tend to keep them otherwise occupied :D
Side note: you will see my "helpers" paw in about 1/2 my coin pics lol

Between you all and me.............. I don't even think my Cat knows what a coin roll is. Maybe sprinkle a little cat nip on them he might have interest. That's because he sleeps all the time!

How about putting the Feline on your shoulders or head. They can watch what you do, and you keep your paws free to CRH.

I'm going to buy one of those automatic laser pointer for her because she's always begging me to get the laser pointer out. Whenever I CRH use my LED head lamp and she goes nuts I swear she is a light fiend lol

How about a kitty hammock? Keeps them close to you but far enough from the coins. Maybe?

I have a similar problem. What (usually) works is to clear off a side table by my chair at the main work table and place the cat onto that. She's still right next to me where I can give her some attention and she won't jump into the main workspace.
