Hello Collectors, I have been using a digitall album (I also use the same program to digitize my photos for safe keeping) to catolog my collection with just the pics. No imformatiom to grades or anything else except which and who certain coins(s) go to upon my demise, just the coins images. I am however, thinking of switching them to a 'coin collector's' software program. Does anyone use such a software program? Which do you use? Easy to use? Help appreciated, Thanks.
i use Liberty Street software. If you're willing to spend the money... I use it mostly for my currency, but they have a coinage program as well
Right now im using EZ COIN just to keep them catalogged. Its not bad but it sure could be A LOT better. I do not recommend EZ COIN.
http://www.tribalsoup.com/cache/index.htm I catalog coins on my website that I got from 5dollarhosting.com
LOL nathan that's the first post in a long time that's actuallly made me laugh out loud.I'm not sure why but it did. OK..I figured it out. It's the progression of thoughts: I use EZ coin EZ coin is not bad EZ coin could be a LOT better I do not recommend EZ coin.
I use Coin Elite, plenty of room for info. Date, grade, price paid, value, where purchased, grading co, etc. All types unlimited # of coins. Good Luck
When listing programs and/or serives in this thread (or referring to other threads) would it be possible for people to post a few features and the price (if any) ? It would be nice to have a quick reference guide. Also a link (as xeno108 did) instead of just a name, if available.
Geez--All you guys have special software. I still using Microsoft Office to catalog. I'm so behind the times.
My Collection from Heritage Auction Galleries is a free service, and it is pretty easy to use. Has some really nice features as far as comparing your coins to similar coins and the prices that have been realized at auction.
