I have two of these, both off-center. This is the better example:

Marcus Porcius Cato was one of the republicans who resisted Gaius Julius Caesar. When Caesar crossed the Rubicon, the republicans fled. Cicero and Sulla Junior fled to Brundisium in Italy opposite Dyrrachium in Greece. Cato went to Utica in northern Africa. When the others were defeated, Caesar came to Utica. Rather than submit, Cato committed suicide.

The obverse says Pro PR (for himself). The reverse is VICTRIX, with the TR as a ligature.
The coin is a quinarius, a half denarius. Cato provided his own silver for the issue to buy the loyalty of the citizens of Utica in resisting Caesar. The seated Victory was also the reverse of the coinage of Cato the Elder, also called Cato the Censor, who was the grandfather of this Cato.
