Several of my purchases from the last six months have not been uploaded until today.

I'm still not done catching up, but here are a few new(-ish) purchases I've had for a few months that never got added.

You know me... I'm all over the place. Just in this small sampling, we've got Ancient, Colonial, US, and World.

Eastern Roman Empire: ca. 476-491 AD gold solidus of Zeno, Constantinople mint
(Just made MS at NGC! Yay. I was pleasantly surprised. The conservation came out well, too. I had NGC remove some rusty looking deposits.)

United States (British Colonial): 1760 copper Voce Populi halfpenny, "VOOE" variety
    (Bought already slabbed.)

United States: 1880-S silver Morgan dollar
(Bought already slabbed, but I sent it back to NGC for photos and reholdering.)

Peru: 1965 gold 100-soles, Seated Liberty type (9 over inverted 5 variety)
(I was pleased with the NGC outcome of this one as well. It's the biggest gold coin I own, at 1.35 ounces. I was unaware it was an overdate variety. It’s also a birthyear coin for me.)

South Africa: 1976 gold Krugerrand, 1-ounce
(This K-rand did pretty well, too.)

Very nice. I love that Peru piece, and a big chunk of gold to boot!

You know I love Morgans, so I have to say that's my favorite of this bunch!

While I like 'em just fine, I should say that I am not a Morganite, for some reason. I don't hate 'em. They just don't jazz me like they do so many other folks. But I am essentially a Type collector when it comes to US stuff, so I do need one Morgan dollar. Might as well have it be a nice one, right? One day I might go with a DMPL. I would say "or even a proof" (I do like 19th century proofs)- but I doubt I'd be willing to cough up the money for a proof Morgan.

I say you have your Morgan - that one is perfectly nice! No need spend extra $$$ to "upgrade". Well, unless you get the bug for nicely toned Morgans!!! :D
