Anyone have an excel based catalogue for US currency? Any interest in creating one through collaboration - Google Docs perhaps?
I want a simple catalogue so I can manage my own collection, look for gaps etc. I would like a catalogue in Excel with all the series of small notes and their basic attributes to facilitate sorting. If this does not exist perhaps we could split it up and use our catalogues and complete an Excel workbook. Thoughts?

I use an older version of CurrencyManage, it works pretty well but has it's quirks, I have been hesitant to buy that latest version since I don't know if they've fixed some of them (it will crash on some basic sorting, etc.). Plus, there are the latest currency years that aren't present in the old version... I have a 2009 single I can't enter because it's newer than my software, pretty sure it'd be in the 2011 version. Speaking of, where is the 2012 version? I think that might make me pull the trigger...

Overall I do like it and do recommend it with just that minor reservation that it can get a bit crashy at times. But all my notes are in it...

MEC2, what is the price of something like that?

It's only like $50 which is really not bad when you think about having all of your notes in one place, searchable, nice for custom reports and such, and VERY nice if you keep all your notes in a SDB or something where you can't just say "do I have one of these or not"?

Note that there is a forum post at Liberty where someone placed an order and has not heard anything about their product, might want to tap the brakes on this until you know for sure the lights are on and someone is still home there...

Thanks for the ideas. I'll check those apps out.

Do you know if it is available as an app, or able to be transferred to a smart phone? I'd LOVE to have something that is quickly accessible on my Android without logging into some website first.

It is most assuredly an Windows application. Not gonna be on your smart phone. Only option would be to remote from your phone to your PC using an RDP client like 2X or something similar. Won't work well. But it will work.
