Has anyone ever seen the word Castro on the back of a 100 dollar bill such as this?

I am interested in what it could mean.

It is located near the colorful large 100 on the reverse, or bottom of the image. I also took a closeup.

It appears to be some kind of a hand stamp put on very haphazardly. I doubt it has any bonafide meaning to it, and it is more of a distraction than anything else. Anyone could have stamped it this way. People do some strange things.

Markings like this are just as silly as graffiti on a wall. Could be a reference to the leaders of Cuba. Fidel Castro and his brother Raul Castro :yack:

It's obviously Castro's money - what are you doing with it?

Who ever handled this bill just marked it. It's a tellers mark.

It is not a teller's mark. Tellers usually initial the top note when auditing their cashiers cage. They don't stamp names, or the like; as posted here.

I wouldn't read too much into it.....someone just stamped it. No.Big.Deal.

I suspect it is a chopmark.
