Really sharp ones! I spend a lot of time sharpening! I use hand gravers, hammer and chisel, (the hammer is very small but it moves metal very well), and a homemade engraver that's hand held made from a tire compressor so its mobile- like a little hand held jack hanmer. The most important thing is sharpening the gravers! I use a 105 degree graver sharpened with a lindsay template!
Nope, no carving coins here. I wouldn't have enough hand strength nowadays. I used to recarve emblems in clarinets.
I’d like to see your Indian Nickel Hobo with a football helmet (root for the New York Football Giants). What’s your team?
In the words of a wise man that yelled really a lot- "If you eat or slept than you had time". I wake up early and stay up late and dont watch TV.
I play a lot of podcasts when I work. Sometimes I have antv show on netflix playing on my phone but I just listen. It would be cool if there was a silver dollar tv screen I could put besides the coins I work on lol.
Hey! Nice Pic. What train am I on again and don't say Crazy! LOL. Remember, I have red hair (what's left).
