Here's the last cart that I bought this year. Severus Alexander (222-235) AE 26-29 mm, 15.87 g. Cilicia, Anazarbus, local date 'HM..' Can't read it exactly. Obv. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right. Rev. Nike, trophy over her shoulder, in biga right, the horses stepping proudly. Sear 3356.
The first that came to my mind was this denarius of Rubricius and the 'Triumphal Chariot' Roman Republic. L. Rubrius Dossenus, moneyer. AR Denarius minted at Rome, 87 BC. Laureate head right of Jupiter; to left, scepter. Reverse: Empty triumphal chariot right, surmounted by small figure of Victory. Sear 258; Rubria 1; Cr. 348/1; Syd. 705.
