What is the best best way to organize the cardboard holders when working on coins i always seem to have them scaterred all over my desk while pricing. I have found out that a large muffin pan works well for sorting out dates of coins, i place a small lable that peels of easily , lay it on the edge of each edge marked in 10 year dates , and on older coins save two holders for p & d etc. . This tiopic may have mentioned before .:thumb:
No answers to this, huh? Odd. I suppose your talking about cardboard flips with the plastic on the inside. They fold in half and you staple or tape the ends. There are long boxes with one or two rows for those available at many coin stores, coin shows and places on line. I can never remember the on line ones but there is one mentioned on this forum all the time. Kruger or something like that. Also, many people buy the plastic pages that hold 20 of those, put them in 3 ringed notebooks. Of course you could just send them all to me and no more problems.:goofer:
When you go to garage sales or thrift stores, look for some 2x2photo slide carousels that people (use to) put 2x2 Kodachrome or Ektachromes, etc. slides in. My favorite are Sawyer brand which were straight like the current storage boxes rather than the circular Kodak type. It makes sorting easier. Jim
i went to a Trade Center Market near me Wow 100 2x2 = $4.00 they are not cheap anymore.. unless on Ebay wholesale i was told Non PVC Coin Flips are best to collectors
