    Dear All,

I have recently purchased a silver Apollo 11 moon landing commemorative dollar ($1), but its capsule has a small side crack. I know that I can return the whole combination and get a new replacement, but I am reluctant to do so as most probably will have to pay import charges once more (UK, goods with > 20 GBP price attract import charges; I called the US mint and they would not replace only the capsule). To this end, I wonder whether the hive mind would know where can I get the non-standard capsule for that particular coin to replace the damaged one? If anyone had that coin and slabbed it, I would much appreciate if you can sell me the original capsule.

    Thanks a lot,
    Alex

Assuming no one has one your best bet will be to try the big boys or the bigger dealers and see if any of them would be willing to sell you one. One of them should have some of them laying around
