Capped die? Jefferson

    Any ideas on the type of error is this a capped die?

    I'd like to see the reverse as well, but it sure looks like it was struck through something, most likely a late stage die cap.

    The reverse of the coin looks normal

    A typical capped die strike. It was struck through a late-stage die cap.
