Can't upload pictures to CT?

I know I don't much about computers but I can't upload pictures to post and obviously others are having trouble as well because I keep seeing a blank that says attached file. Just curious if there was a solution to this problem.

I second this question! I thought it was just me and my computer being tempermental but I guess I'm not the only one.

haha hate to say but this forum would be somewhat useless without pictures

 

If you have an account like photobucket, you can copy and paste the "IMG" line. That still works. Just don't use the "upload" or "attachment" function here.

 

That works... but it doesn't make this quarter look any better..

Now, everything that was stored in the Upload Manager is gone.

I'm also having problems viewing photos I've previously uploaded, and some photos others have uploaded. Some display just fine though. I haven't been able to isolate why some are viewable and some aren't.

 

Couldnt see any "Attached Thumbnails" stored locally on this website server inside any posts, just like those in the post above. Now it seems to be working. Suspected it might be about AdBlock and Firefox updates.

Yep! Working now, and it looks like all of the photos in the Upload Manager are back. Next, I'll check My Albums.

I can also view the previously unviewable photos. Whatever magic spell you cast Peter, It worked!

I'll also try a photo upload.

Maybe you can post them now, but some of the old pictures are still missing and my File Upload Manager is still has page 1 as blanks.

 

OK, in File Upload Manager;
When I drag the icon to attachments, the icon reappears there, but not in the manager page.
When I then post the picture it works, but still no icon.

Also, even when I repost the picture, it does not reappear in the original thread. See http://www.cointalk.com/editpost.php?do=updatepost&postid=1053962
