I’m very close to identifying a second one! I cant tell if it is Esty Type 6 or Type 11. I can really only see TAS on the end of the left. I really am having difficulty reading the legend on the right. Any help? REPVBLICAE or ROMANORVM?

Im still not sure on that one . I know it has to be Valentinian I or Valens, but I am leaning towards Valentinian (the bust is a lot more full, heavier than I've seen with Valens). But then again my journey to the Dark Side has just begun and I hardly know much about ancients.
Well, this is real unscientific, but you know how eyes don't grow, as such they look big on a young face? I think that's how the artist (engraver) captured the youthful look on these earlier portraits. I'm going to call this a youthful Valentinian II, we'll see how far I get on it when the real experts get here.
I agree with you with the larger eyes. However portraits of Valentinian II are generally much smaller and poorly engraved on these (images from Esty's database). These are both Valentinian II.
