Tombac is a yellowish metal, nickel looks like a US nickel.

The nickel one is round, just like all the others, the tombac is 12-sided, and was only made during WWII.

  5. I have never looked into it, but I have a 1943 and 1945 Canadian nickel. The former is copper and the latter looks to be chronium (I'm guessing plated steel since it is magnetic).

Apparently the Candians were doing some experimentation!
