    Hello everyone,
Today I did a 4 hour Metal Detecting hunt.
I posted a separate thread on my finds.

This Dime which was detected is a bit mangled up. I laughed and thought to myself.. "This looks like one of those coins that someone would try to sell on eBay thinking it was a legit mint error"

Or probably post a thread on CoinTalk asking
"What kind of error is this? And how much is it worth?" :bucktooth:

Here's the picture of the DEFDAM Dime

    Definitely Damaged :yack:

DEFDAM Error! How much $ are you asking for this one-of-a-kind example. I metal detect all the time and have not yet found this type. My AT Max must be broken.

I just can’t bring myself to give a like for a damaged coin but are you 100% sure it wasn’t minted like that by accident? The mint does make mistakes you know.

I tell you what.. I can sell it to you for $2000.00
It could be a rare mint error. You send it in for Attribution and get back to us ;)

Moderators.. this post was meant as a joke.
I wouldn't really sell a crappy dime like that
    :hilarious:

I definitely see the dropped "7" at 0600, the quad struck mashed "berty" on the obverse and the bear claw between one and dime on the reverse. Looks like you found one. Excellent job!!!!!

I really hope you are kidding o_O

It's all completely post mint damage with no mint errors of any kind. That's not a dropped 7.

    Of course.

Though it is listed as the following in the literature,

    Vasquez: SF-002 worth $4,000,000.00

    Coinse: DA-05 worth 989,000,000,000.00

    Abdullah: BM-01 worth 36,000,000.00

I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
I will now kindly ask you to stop posting nonsense.

Nonsense topics invite nonsense replies. Vasquez, Coinse, Abdullah often post meaningless coins with elaborate claims about them while putting ridiculous values on their meaningless coins on multiple numismatic forums.

Well none of those people are on CoinTalk and I don't really care about them. Everyone on CoinTalk knows who I am and they know this thread was just a joke.

    Your posts are just annoying.

I am disappointed with the responses of the many experienced collectors that did not immediately realize this was a Chinese fake.
