Just passing on this information in case it was missed on this forum. What will be on the coin, a pink ribbon? http://www.coinnews.net/2013/12/13/breast-cancer-awareness-commemorative-coins-proposed/
While these type of coins are seldom very nicely designed, raising five million dollars to help fight breast cancer is certainly a great cause. Who knew the government could do some good?
I like the message, but unfortunately recent things have come to light that make me really question the ethics of the Komen Foundation. About 15% or less of recieved donations actually go to research, and the organization has come under fire for constantly suing other charitable groups who use the word "cure" or have the color pink as part of their campaign. While I am certainly not saying "don't support the cause", I always consider how much money that I give is actually put to the cause, and where my money is going.
heres my donation non cents is right, their all scammers, and the governments just lies to people anyways, thanks to me, formaldehyde is now a known carcinogen, should of been in this book, but my local government never report it, so I reported it to the national toxicology program, got involved in making sure formaldehyde was made a known carcinogen, if anyone has a hard time getting their cancer registry, let me know, I can help with that
Heres a link to one of the evil programs going on in Michigan http://www.michigan.gov/documents/mdch/MCSP_Cancer_Program_Manual_20131001_436212_7.pdf this is one evil program, and also taking place in your neighborhood too
Anybody that buys one of theses coins is a fool, and you are just supporting the cause, or cancer world with their lies
Hmmm...I wouldn't go so far to say that buying the coin means that you are "supporting tge cancer world with lies". My main point I was trying to make is not that the organization is pure evil that is in cahoots with the government to lie to everyone, it is that if a person was interested in supporting the cause of breast cancer treatment/awReness, there are other charitable groups with a much cleaner reputation that you can give to.
