Cancelling A Coin, In This Case A Quarter

    Here is a nice example of a waffled quarter. I can still see enough of the design to make it out. One is a Oregon and the other is The US Virgin Islands. I can not tell the mint mark.

    I love how Washington's pony tail now looks like a duck holding a bow tied reed of grass. LOL
    Did you purchase this, or find it? Not many make out of the mint, but I know they do. I had a cancelled nickel from circulation a few years ago. Not sure how anybody would assume it was currency, but I got it in change.
