I have a couple of questions...

I was just given a 1991 RCM Uncirculated set (see attached). Now, I'm very aware of how special the '91 quarter is, but I have never had any interest in mint sets. I ignore them completely when they come up at my local auction house. The only reasons I accepted this one was that it was free and had that '91 quarter.

    So, here are the questions:

    1) In your folks experiences, how do the coins in these sets tend to grade at the TPG's?

    2) I am better off keeping the set complete, or breaking it up so that I can slab the quarter and sleep with it under my pillow?

    Thanks

    Lord:
Personally I would keep it as is.

What again is special about the 91 quarter, low mintage?

    Extremely low. 459,000 compared to 31,000,000+ in 1990 and 153,000,000,+ in 1992.
