Just looking for an opinion on purchasing this coin. I think its an AWESOME looking coin, and I'd love to have it just for that fact, but...at $249.95CAN (which is almost the same in USD these days), it seems like a huge premium. Its limited in production to 7,000, and its the first ever produced using this process.

Again, I'd love the coin just for aesthetic appeal...but the price was a bit of a shock. At around $250, I'd like for it to have some upside potential. I've always collected only US coins, so I don't know much about Canadian coinage.

My question is...would a piece like this be expected to at least hold its value? For 1 oz of silver and a $20 face value, it seems like it has a lot of risk built in. Thanks for any info!

Is that the plasma coin? If so ~ I agree... a bit pricy to start ... would love to have one too... if anyone is feeling generous out there :)
