Quick question. I have a guy that wants to sell me 15 Canadian one ounce silver maple leafs. The dates are 1991 and 1992. How much over spot are they worth? What would you pay?
I don't know if spot is what I would really be looking at right now. It's so low that it's become a "paper value." You really can't get silver in hand for anywhere near spot. I don't know how much over spot is fair right now, but expect to pay a fair amount over spot at this time.
They are counterfeit. An obvious cast one made in china. lol Ok I am just kidding. 4 bucks over price is what I am seeing also.
Well I bought 12 coins in total for $135. He didn't have all Canadian Coins. Once I get there with the money the 12 Canadian coins turned out to be six silver rounds, three Canadian one ounce 5 dollars, and three ASE. Two of the eagles had begun to tone. I didn't check the dates on them until a few days later. I got one ASE 1986, 1990 and a 1996. I hope I did ok, but the way I see it it was just a bit over spot for all of the coins.
