I've never owned one of these before and for some reason they just grabbed me lately. These are such a great design, 80% at 0.6 oz of silver, feel heavy and very affordable. I'm glad nobody cares about these because I want to buy them cheap! Actually bought several but this graded one just came in today and I photographed it. Both Mexico and Canada had great designs throughout the 20th century.

This particular one is amazing. It looks like a 60s SMS proof from the US mint. Does anybody from Canada know if people were still spending these in the mid 60s? Or did they start hoarding like the US did around that time?

Growing up in Upstate New York, they usually circulated like US in the 60s. Silver value close enough for commerce.
